Because the GSL community is made up of users of all ages it is extremely important to us to maintain an environment which is free from content which could be considered upsetting or offensive in nature.
All users are personally responsible for the content which they post to our forum. Do not post or share content, links, images, videos or other media of any type which is or could be considered upsetting in nature. If you are in any doubt as to if your content could be consider upsetting do not post it.
Examples of content of an upsetting nature include, but are not limited to, content which is, describes or depicts in any medium:
Porn, nudity or sexually explicit acts, sexual abuse, drugs or drugs abuse, graphic or gratuitous violence, child exploitation, animal abuse, people getting hurt, attacked or humiliated, accidents, dead bodies, crashes, racism, sexism, firearms and homophobia.

When such situations occur it is important to remember that other people’s points of view are just as valid as your own. Showing respect for your fellow users opinions is vital in making sure that our social media site remains the warm and welcoming place we all want them to be.
Focus on discussing topics by furthering the conversation and informing the participants with resourceful and constructive ideas. Always make sure that you are making it clear that you are expressing your own opinions.
We encourage healthy discussion but do not allow yourself to be drawn into all out arguing. If you find yourself in such a situation simply agree to disagree and withdraw from the discussion.

Content of an undesirable nature
We encourage users to help us keep discussions on-topic and organized by following certain posting etiquette. Users should refrain from:
• Swearing of any kind
• Bypassing moderation controls like spelled out links or character replacing, e.g. cr4p or sh*t
• Derailing a conversation or thread topic. If you wish to discuss something not related to the topic in question please create a separate post or thread addressing it.
• Rage posting such as "This article sucks"
• POST IN ALL CAPS.
• Posting petition topics.
• Posting content relating to soliciting, begging, auctioning, raffling, selling and referrals.
• Posting content relating to religious, political, and other “prone to huge arguments” discussion.
• Being intentionally unhelpful, providing wrong or intentionally false information.
• Posting of non-constructive comments or reviews
• Repeatedly posting the same thing over and over. Post it once and once only. Continually posting the same thing over and over will be considered spamming.

No commercial advertising is permitted. Announcements are restricted to non-profit organizations advertising their events or speakers their programs.

Complaints
If you feel any participant has violated any of the above Terms of Use and/or Codes of Conduct, do not confront that person yourself. Report the post to the Admin or send an email to GSL. We will investigate it and make a determination as soon as possible. The offending post may be removed and/or the user banned from the forum.
All decisions are final and at the sole and exclusive discretion of GSL.
